Diaphragm pumps

Diaphragm pumps have a number of huge advantages compared to other types of pumps. The most important of these is that they do not have a mechanical seal so the risk of leakage is minimal, they are dry self-priming, there are no dry running restrictions, they are suitable for pumping watery to highly viscous liquids and they can pump liquids containing solids.

Pneumatically driven diaphragm pumps have a number of extra benefits too, the capacity for example can be infinitely controlled by varying the air pressure, so the pumps stops automatically when the seal is closed in the return pipe and starts automatically when this seal is opened again.
